This annual event for the holiday lights is at the top of Birmingham, so enjoy the view. The Vulcan is a popular spot in the Birmingham area, so don’t miss out on this nightly show! Birmingham Zoo
Glow Wild 2023: An Animal Lantern Celebration
November 17th, 2023 – January 15th, 2024 from 5:00 pm – 9:00 pm on select nights
If you haven’t celebrated Christmas at the zoo before, then now is the time to start. The Birmingham Zoo knows how to celebrate every occasion, and Christmas is no different. There will be Christmas music, smores, crafts, and more in addition to the holiday lights. It’s the perfect family friendly event for the season! The Summit
Birmingham has iconic Christmas lights downtown, which are the Regions Center building and lights at Linn Park. You can’t miss these huge displays while driving around the city. While you’re downtown, enjoy the lights under the bridge as well – head over to CityWalk and walk under the lights. There are plenty of places to grab a drink or eat while you’re there.
The next spot to see are the Christmas decorations at The Summit. Enjoy all of the decorations while you shop or grab some dinner with family and friends!

The Galaxy of Lights is the main event that you want to make a trip for! This huge display is a sight to see; holiday lights are displayed all around the Huntsville Botanical Gardens. This event can be walked through or driven through during certain times. There are bike nights and dog walk nights! Check out the website for more details and plan your trip!
